01 / What Leyden does

For people who think faster than they can file.

Most notes apps expect you to organise on the way in. Leyden expects you to type fast and messy, then does the structure work for you. The AI is the quiet librarian in the background, not another dashboard to tend.
Voice capture
Press record and say the thought out loud. Leyden transcribes it, so capturing an idea takes seconds and no typing.
AI auto-title and auto-tag
Dump a raw thought the moment you have it, spoken or typed. Leyden uses AI to title, tag, and structure it so you never have to file it yourself.
Interview mode
When a half-formed idea needs pushing further, Leyden asks the follow-up questions a thoughtful friend would. Your answers flow back into the same note.
Smart Linking
Semantic search across your entire idea library. When you capture something new, Leyden surfaces the past thoughts that connect to it, so nothing useful gets stranded.

02 / Current status

Where Leyden is right now

Here is what exists, what doesn't, and why nothing is available to use yet.
  1. Phase 1 Done

    Core web app

    Built in early 2026 on Nuxt and Firebase: voice and typed capture, AI titling and tagging, interview mode, and Smart Linking over a vector index. A holding page is live at leyden.app.

  2. Phase 2 Prototype

    Mobile app

    A Flutter prototype with sign-in and local voice recording. It does not sync or use the AI features yet, and it is not in any app store.

  3. Phase 3 On hold

    Beta and launch

    Not started. Work on Leyden is paused, so there is no beta and no launch date. If that changes, we will say so on the Vantara Labs blog.
